When Bad Things Happen to Good People, Pt 2

A situation we may find ourselves is in the presence of a friend who is having a hard time. It doesn’t take much imagination to know what those hard times are because we have either gone through difficulty, are going through it now, or soon will go through it. What do you say in that situation? Do you say things are going to be okay when, in the back of your mind, you don’t know? Or do you start quoting the Word of God as a mighty prayer warrior of faith? Whatever you think an appropriate response should be, we must know that each situation is unique.

Every situation is as unique as the number of people that live on this planet. There is no “one size fits all” approach to comforting people through tough times. Job is a person of an ancient era with heartbreak that extends into our contemporary moments. Allow God's Word to touch your heart as His Word identifies with us and strengthens us at the same time. Jesus reigns!
